A modder known as alphaZomega has introduced a new mod to the PC version of the Resident Evil 2 Remake, aiming to revive the classic fixed camera angles reminiscent of the original 1998 survival horror experience. This mod, titled RE2R Classic, offers players the option to shift the perspective from the third-person view to the traditional fixed camera angles.
With the release of this mod roughly five years after the Resident Evil 2 Remake hit the shelves, players now have the opportunity to relive the tension and atmosphere of the original game. The mod boasts over 1,700 carefully placed fixed cameras, allowing users to navigate through the game from start to finish within this nostalgic viewpoint.
