One standout moment was when the iconic Slimer appeared, his mouth seemingly adorned with Cheeto dust. Additionally, a promotional photo depicted a clever attempt to lure Slimer with a trail of Cheetos leading to a ghost trap.
Fans’ suspicions were further confirmed when Cheetos’s Instagram page underwent a “chilling” transformation, using a filter showcasing the film’s “Death Chill.” This set the stage for the grand reveal: Cheetos is reintroducing its popular Flamin’ Hot Smoky Ghost Pepper Puffs, packaged in bags designed to evoke a slimy aesthetic, complete with Chester Cheetah sporting his Ghostbusters attire. Each bag contains a QR code enabling entry into a Sony Pictures-sponsored contest, offering winners a chance to attend a future movie premiere or opt for a generous cash prize.
